This Privacy Notice explains how O Art International LLC (“O Art International”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit www.oartinternational.com (the “Site”), contact us, or enquire about an artwork. It also explains the choices and rights you have.

1. Who We Are

2. Personal Data We Collect

Information you give us through our contact and enquiry forms, or by email:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Country of residence
  • The content of your message and the artwork you enquire about
  • Whether you have opted in to receive emails about artworks and exhibitions

Information collected automatically when you use the Site:

  • Usage data through Google Analytics, such as pages visited, time on site, approximate location (derived from your IP address), device and browser type. This is only collected if you allow analytics cookies (see section 5).
  • Campaign parameters in the link you used to reach us (for example utm_source or utm_campaign), which we attach to your enquiry if you submit one.
  • Technical data that our hosting provider logs to deliver and secure the Site, such as IP address and request times.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as health, financial account, or government ID information), and we ask that you do not send it to us.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide information about artworks
  • To manage viewings, reservations, and purchases, and keep related records
  • To send a confirmation of your enquiry
  • To send occasional emails about artworks, exhibitions, and gallery news, only if you opt in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it (if you allow analytics)
  • To keep the Site secure and comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data, use it for targeted advertising, or use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Who We Share Data With

We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contracts that limit its use to providing their services to us:

  • Google LLC (United States): website analytics (Google Analytics)
  • Vercel, Inc. (United States): website hosting
  • Sanity AS (Norway, with infrastructure in the United States and EU): website content and image delivery

We may also disclose personal data if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this notice will continue to apply to your data.

You can change your choice at any time using (also at the bottom of every page). If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of analytics. 6. How Long We Keep Data

  • Enquiries and contact records: for as long as we are in contact with you, and up to 3 years after our last interaction, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Purchase records: as long as required for tax, accounting, and provenance purposes under applicable law.

  • Confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and give you a copy
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data
  • Provide your data in a portable format
  • Stop sending you marketing emails (or use the unsubscribe link in any email)

To make a request, email info@oartinternational.com with the subject “Privacy request”, including your name, the email address you used with us, and what you would like us to do. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of their authorization. We respond within 30 days, and will tell you if we need more time where the law allows it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

United States residents

Residents of Texas, California, and other states with consumer privacy laws have the rights listed above. You also have the right to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling; we do not engage in any of these. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General (for Texas residents: www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection).

Visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

Under the GDPR and equivalent laws, we process your data on these legal bases: to take steps at your request before a possible purchase and to perform a sale (responding to enquiries, managing purchases); your consent (marketing emails, analytics cookies); our legitimate interests (keeping correspondence records, securing the Site); and legal obligations (tax and accounting records). In addition to the rights above, you can restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Your data is transferred to and processed in the United States. Where our providers are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions), we rely on that certification; otherwise we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Visitors in Mexico

You may exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition (derechos ARCO), and revoke your consent, under Mexico’s federal personal data protection law, by emailing us as described above.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Notice

We may update this notice from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date, and where changes are significant we will provide additional notice.
